I'm currently animating a 2D character on Inkscape (I find it easier to animate vectors than raster and I prefer using opensource software).
Been doing fine with Inkscape creating graphics for ~3 games already. but this current game I'm working on requires mushing of characters as they get hit and even when running/slowing/jumping. I hope you get the idea.
Hello! I am a student at a code school working on my final project, which is going to be a 4x style strategy game - conceptually similar to Civilization, but more similar to Master of Orion/Ascendancy if you have ever played those (it's in spaaaace!). I've already found a bunch of amazing art here that I plan to use - thanks! What I'm looking for at the moment is alien avatars/portraits/headshots to serve as player avatars. I have had trouble finding anything like this in my searches so far. Basically I would like to have small thumbnail/headshot style images of different alienish "races".
Hi there! I was wondering if it was possible to get someones help with doing pixel art! Im trying to sort of make a hybrid Rpg sort of Pet site- and pixel art is used for the maps... http://atrocity.mysidiahost.com/pages/view/worldmap Originally I was using RPG maker to make these maps- but then I learned that I wasnt allowed to use those sprites outside of RPG maker itself! Despite that I bought the program... so I've been trying to find someone willing to help me replace the sprites with new ones/better ones.
Hello my name is SaviorSavior and I would like to ask for your help in our Metroidvania, Action, and Adventure game. Yes you will get paid when the game starts to sell. We havent started the game yet because we are in need of a sprite artist but if you can create our characters sprite we will get started and show you what we can do.
I tried making some tilesets for a "game" I started writing (currently only consists of walking around). There's dirt, mudstone (which is what I've decided to call the generic gray stone), and peridotite (the green one). I mostly want to know how worried I should be about making the big blobs of the same type look better. They currently have 4 different variations of each sprite to try to avoid a visible grid, and have separate sprites for bordering air.
