I tried creating a (very basic, admittedly. and very oldschool) game ui and since my experience with this is very limited I wanted to ask if anyone could give me some feedback? constructive criticism more than welcomed :)
Hey guys, I am an indie game developper on Unity. I am looking for an artist for one of my game.
My game is a 2d survival platformer game where you have to survive waves of enemies. Its a very arcrade style of game where instead of having a local score board there will be a world scoreboard. It will be a fast paced game with lots of things happening.
I am thinking of selling the game on steam and I'm ready to share a percentage of the benefits for good work.
My game is not set in stone at all and will be happy to change anything if I like it.
Some of you might have noticed from an older post that I made an app for doing pixel art on the iPhone/iPad. Really it is more suited to creating little animations of characters etc. Than building tile maps for screens, but just to let you know I've added support to share your pixel art/animations via an iMessage extension as stickers.
I recently discovered Dragonbones an animation tool for 2D sprites and started learning it. Untill today I used Spriter Basic and considered to buy the PRO version without restrictions.
Now the thing is Dragonbones has all features that Spriter + Spine has like Free Form Deformation, IK, Timeline Curve Editing, Weight editing etc. and I really liked that tool. On top of it it's completely free!
I hope you all find this useful for your Holiday Games, or even as fun easter eggs in a Non-holiday game. Each pixel was placed with great love and care (especially the candle, it has a bittersweet story behind it.)
Hello everyone. I am looking for dimensional sprites for a medieval RPG. It must be third person point of view from behind...as I am pursuing making a Sprite-based 3D game and need character images. I have uploaded an example in this post. That should give you a good example of what I need. PS:If this sprite sheet that I'm lloking for doesnot exist, I wouldn't mind someone drawing it as a template would be nice as long as it has the arm of the sprite swinging (as if slashing a sword) and a blocking frame too.
One of the things I've always been impressed with the original doom series was the head on the hud to give you an indicator of your health and if you were being attacked (and on which side) or if you were in fact dead.
Has anyone posted their own version of this head? I'm not sure what search terms to use to try and find this on this site.
I have been planning on doing a game like Super Pang (If you have never heard of it here is a youtube link to it : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SOicdUSoa-E) for a long time and now I have finally the time to make it. Super Pang is a really cool game from the 90's, its a fast action arcade game.
