I started a visual novel open source project (The Corporation) where one of my goals is to learn/improve my digital art skills.
I will share all the game art work here (opengameart) but I wanted to refine my work, so I am trying to seek feedback and constructive criticism. Not sure if this is the right place.

I'm working on a pixel paint program for Mini Micro. Currently I have 15 tools defined, but I have room for 16!
First column: pencil, brush, fill, eyedropper.
Second column: eraser, draw line, draw rectangle, fill rectangle.
Third column: shift content, ???, draw ellipse, fill ellipse.
Last column: select, blur, lighten, darken.
Pixel artists: what one additional tool would you really love to see in a pixel paint program?
While I am not super new to pixel art, I am still well and trully in the learning phase. I'd like to know what you think I could improve on my attached XM-8 artworks.

Hi there. I'm one of the developers for an open sourced sort-of roguelike game called Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead. For the last year or so, I've been slowly working on an all-new set of graphic resources for the game, along with the help of a bit over a dozen other artists and code contributors. We have created Ultimate Cataclysm, a sort of weird tileset because of the limitations of our brutally antique rendering engine, but stylish nonetheless.
