For example, since jpeg is not a lossless compression method, if you compress the png image source it will change some pixel. Thus the resulting jpeg will be a derivative work which is not allowed by ND part

Common sense should come before legality. In my opinion, authors' intention were clear when they released the screenshots under creative commons.
Always ask the author unless the license is explicitly stated.
