You have good desert tiles (intro and I though there was another desert map in an earlier release) and cave tiles that look great. I think it should be possible to create something that is playable for longer, just with these two tilesets. You just need writers going on creating fun side quests. The intro (where the soldiers? walk through the desert) could be a map on its own, with multiple caves to explore (with loot and side quests).

I decided to play it this last weekend. Build it and ran it. Worked my way through the cave level and then it stopped. I think the engine is good and the art work is great, now only something that is a bit longer to play then ~20 minutes, I think that should be possible.

The art for the crab-like boss at the end needs to be improved... that was so out of place.

Nice post, however missing something in the part "Buy". I think there should be some reference about what are reasonable prices for a paid commission. I've always had problems with supporting FOSS projects, due to the fact that most of them only accept payment methods that I don't trust (Paypal). With bitcoin nicely filling up that spot I 've been thinking about putting up a commission, but I have no idea about what reasonable prices are.

I don't have any project that I work on, it is just to get usefull art made and put it here on the site for anybody to use.

Nice. However the Amethyst looks to bright? in the middle (white octo-shape?). Reflection gone bad?

Although you could use them as store for value in Flare, or maybe use them as "soul stones" to recharge or craft magical weapons.

Some enemies should have some (stronger) restoration of health or able to use health potions. Undead bosses should be able to summon undead minions. AI should be better. There should be a bit more strategy behind a fight instead of just hitting/firing untill you win. Maybe also the showing the levels of enemies in the UI should be removed (could still be through some spell, but if the level of the enemy is at least 2 levels higher it will notice and start attacking you even from some distance).
