thats fine, i have no issues with people fixing a few bugs here and there whilst the voting is happening. :)
but keeping with traditional rules of game jams, no adding new levels, characters, weapons etc, however i cant enforce it, Its just down to honesty. :)
@xmzhang thanks , I'm glad you got your game on, I wouldn't worry to much about bugs, mine has a lot, and I have no more time find and fix them all, I can only make notes on what I know and make players aware of them. Looking forward to playing all the games submitted.:)
@medicinestorm you can submit anytime from now until the jam ends, once submitted it automatiaclly generates a page for your game, from which I believe you can update as much as you need to. Apparently after the jam ends I will then able to create a "late submission' link, however your game must already have a published page in order for me to post/add the late submission link.
this is my first game jam I've ever done, so this is very much a learning curve for me. I would submit your game then make the neccessary changes as you find them. I have no problem with bug fixing during the voting stage if it's possible, the games will be played and voting on at whatever stage they are at.
i hope that the voting and comments are not to critical because of bugs, it is just a bit of fun, and a great way to see the assets in use from here at OGA.
my game has so many bugs and I'm not going to able to get it to a state I wanted it to be, but hey ho, you can only do what you can do.:)
Im not sure how to work out a UTC time, im not sure what itch.io will do either, all i can say is for me (UK) i have to be finished by Sat 12.00am, so basically Friday 11.59pm. however those in other countrys will have to keep their eye on the countdown clock on the game jam page. they to may have to be submitted by then as well. If you know how to work out a UTC that would be great, but like i said, im not sure itch will take that into account. :)
Excellent capbros. Y'know, this is a game jam but I have said that it can be a book or something else, as long as it can be uploaded and voted on, if you have 6 of the required assets from OGA I don't see no reason why you couldn't submit you palette tool project if you wanted.:)
i have been reading the thread on you palette tool, it goes a bit over my head, to technical for me, but interesting as I hoping to start prototyping my own Sprite generator towards the end of the year.
2D,3D, 2 bit, whatever, anything is a go!, if you think you can do it, do it. don't worry if you guys don't finish, please still submit. be cool just to see what you all do with the assets you have chosen for your project, are your games inspired by the assets perhaps?

The jam is over! Well done and thank you to everyone who participated! I am looking forward to playing all your games over the next 2 weeks.
now the voting starts!

perhaps, make a copy, put in new folder, compress the folder to a zip file and try uploading that?
