It's not bad, but yeah, a bit too chiptuny. :) It's better than i imagined a "Chiching!" which i described in the request.
I prefer realistic sounds in my game, like intense sounding explosions with much bass and such. I mean, it basically has no cute or playful theme, more epic like. You could check out the game here to get an idea in which direction i go: http://websocket.bonsaiheld.org/ (no login required, just come in)
You should reupload your stuff. Everything looks like it was saved in GIF format, without real alpha channel. Look at the black pixels at the border, that's typical for GIF or limited colors. That should be smooth, when saving in PNG with truecolor.
And i'm sure people would like it if you would release the 3D models so they can use the buildings in 3D games, too. Of course, you don't have to. :)
Also, be sure the textures you used are Public Domain. If they are Creative Commons and not yours, you have to mention the authors here and do whatever else they want. If they are under standard copyright you can't use them.
He replied. It seems it would have not much use to release the models. :(
Hmm, the thing with releasing the 3D models of the ships is that they were made primarily to be rendered from above, many of them are garbage from just about any other angle, to give you an example of what I mean, I rendered one of the ships from the sides:
They are layered over the actual images and are meant to respond to light sources to give the illusion of 3D. For the general idea you can check out this HTML5 demo on how to do it in Javascript and Canvas:
I love the idea of rendering something in these view angles. These are basically the most often used ones in games. Awesome.
That looks very professional. :)

True. :)
Brand new ships! \o/

I guess all ships with normalmaps are originally 3D. The model files aren't available but i will forward your question to MillionthVector.
EDIT: Done.
MillionthVector had to fix one of the ships, that's why i haven't uploaded this pack until now.
Enjoy :)
