Hey, thanks for this neat and super-simple tutorial!

I made a video based on these instructions: http://youtu.be/j8BZz62ZaM8

I think you meant "Delay" and "-6" as the first attribute and parameter. :)

Knowing that it only happens to admins is a relief. CruzR, thanks for your attention! :)

Thanks for asking! See http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/legalcode section 4b for the default credits for ccby3 licensed art. Here's a suggestion:

http://webtreats.mysitemyway.com/terms-of-use/ makes it clear that re-distribution is not permitted, but for something to be freely licensed, it has to permit such use. The owner can be contacted and asked to use ccby3 or ccbysa3 for example, for making it easier to know to users what is permitted (because cc licenses are widely known - even if most people never read the license text but just the description, which I am not criticizing).

"Legal Stuff" in the footer of http://texturemate.com/ claims that ccby3 is the license but it also says "The only exception is that they cannot be redistributed commercially in their unedited form.", which is a contradiction to being ccby3 licensed. The owner should be contacted and asked to either remove the restrictions or offer them that they instead write that for 1:1 redistribution attribution *is* required, which would be the default for ccby3 anyway.

You can find a discussion that resolved a ccby3+restrictions situation successfuly on FGD forums: http://forum.freegamedev.net/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=3088

A similar situation exists on http://textures.cc/, where they say "please do not redistribute the collection of images", which can probably be ignored. I did point that issue out to them... kind of... via twitter: https://twitter.com/qubodup/status/214237221228781568 It seems they decided not to change the text.

When in doubt, the safest solution is to ask the owners (hosts) of free to use media, whether they are ok with you uploading INSERT WORK URL HERE to http://opengameart.org under the INSERT LICENSE URL(s) HERE. If they allow it, you should include a text describing how you were given permission (email? telephone? forum? twitter? with quotes/links if possible) in your upload. In both negative and positive responses you can share the reaction here in this forum so others can find the information.

Cheers!

Best wishes for this to be a success!

If the cube trains ad click rate is a huge spike compared to the others, it might be because the cube trains ad has a OGA-color background and it made the impression of being part of the site. Not sure there's a problem there though.

Thanks for the instructions, CruzR.

There are no errors.

There seems to be one warning:

Resource interpreted as Font but transferred with MIME type application/octet-stream: "http://opengameart.org/sites/all/themes/oga/fonts/DroidSans-Bold.ttf".

As far as I can tell, actually receiving (parts of) the website itself is the only problem.

Here's an edited video of me using the console: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uz0hUTsro3c

I think Adblock Plus is used in all the browsers. However, I just tested on my 64bit desktop as a test chromium user profile with no extensions, the issue remained. Two screenshots from this run:

The issue might have to do with my user account (I should use a test user) or my location/ISP. For the record: I'm in Berlin, Germany, my ISP is Kabel Deutschland.

Ideally, provide a .png and additionally an .ora inside of a .zip (is there built-in compression?).

If .ora is not compressed, this might be the only reason to reject it as a direct upload, but for now, please feel free to upload .ora inside of a .zip or .7z but for ease of use, I recommend you provide a .png as well.

socapex: telling us there is noise without explaining whether it's in the file or just during playback and whether it is also in the original/wav and not providing proof is trolling/FUD-ing again :)
