Ok I just tested it: The trick works very well vs Mez and his servants. It works also vs Lezaith partly, at least you can easily kill her from distance. Against Metzger I couldnt make it work, as there seem to be not really the barriers where the zombie can get stuck.
If you wear set items, and if you move 1 item then to the secondary set, the set will still show that you are also wearing that item (even though its in the secondary set where its not doing anything)
By the way I found another nice trick to defeat a boss monster more easily than expected:
Mertor (First main boss). As I said, if you summon a zombie before you enter the chamber, and if you run straigth into the chamber, the zombie will be trapped behind the door. Then you can summon Mertor and lure him very close to the door and the zombie. He will try to attack the zombie then (which he cant do directly), and will get stuck there. Then he can easily be killed.
What do I like about Diablo 2 - LoD what Flare doesn't have? For example:
- you can play the game together with other people
- randomly generated maps
- a wider range of skills, items and monsters
- nightmare and hell difficulties
- special items can be found everywhere, not just at boss monsters
- summoning of various support units (not just 1 zombie), health regeneration of support units
- mercenery support units
- you cant simply shoot monsters 1 by 1 if you are walking around. Instead, if you walk around, huge bulks of monsters will spot you from afar and rush to attack you. That's more challenging and less lame
Whats not too hot neither is the energy flow (equals like 6 energy attribute points) Maybe the effects of energy flow and stonewall should be doubled?
Warcry is a very useful skill, but I dont see why one would invest more than one skill point in it. Maybe give it an additional effect which increases for each skill point?

That's beyond my skill
There are 6 items which everyone can wear: Helmet, Armor, Boots, Gloves, Leg-Protection and Artifact.
You must chose 1 of the 3 weapons but this is enough for 7 in total.
Lezaith didnt stand a chance against my pro gamer beartrap skills xD

When I died right away in the salted field because of pull shot monsters I was like "wtf?"
The special ability of the ant bombers made me laugh hard!
Metzger's Battlemace deals now also some magical damage, so you can play a hybrid brute/magician with that.
Suggestion: Introduce some more hybrid weapons, for example ranged/magic and ranged/melee, or even ranged/magic/melee.
An unique shield would also be nice.

The shield skill was totally useless in 1.11 for scout and brute. Now you can at least have some value if you invest one skill point. I like it
