Starting at 100 is a way of saying we think your contribution is important. Like when a teacher tells you your grade starts at an A+ all you have to do is keep it. I don't think ratings should be arbitary at all. They should be based on basics like form, line, color, texture, space, value and sound art principles.
I have been think about this and think we not giving ourselves a enough slack with only three categories of finished-ness.
I think a better solution is to a 0 to 100 scale where 0 is a draft concept, 50 is a workable draft, 75 is a high quality piece, 100 is a refined production ready piece. every piece starts at 100. User then subtract points from and must supply 1 reason for every 5 pts subtracted. Admin will have more freedom in point subtraction but must always provide technical reasons. subtracted numbers are averaged or some other way.
@arthur, there is also Spring Engine and it's Games. It has everything from Star Wars, Total Annilahation Mods, Spring:1944 a WWII RTS, and many more. All three-D and most fun.
Both Cube2:Sauerbraten and Red Eclipse (which is a Total Conversion of Cube2) FPS engine are Octree based so i think they are good places to look for working code if you learn better that way.
While i'm not totally for or against allowing People to place job offers on the forums. I see allowing it as helping our blossoming community of artists and programmers find work they enjoy and a way to support themselves. On the other hand I can see the potential backlash in the community because we have 'sold out' despite the fact that we have always commissioned art from artists ourselves.
So my question is does this help promote the goals of OGA and setup a kind of environment that encourages that?
I see these goals as:
Encouraging artists and programmers to contribute to and use FOSS & Free Culture.
Be a Repository for the products of this union of artists and programmers.
My answer for the short term is no. It does not help those goals.
My answer for the long term is I do not know.
If we do allow it need some rules.
Only in the Job Offers Forum (note: i don't call it proprietary or closed source offers because like us we make deals with artists under terms we both find favorable.)
Must Be First Party Offer i.e. someone from the hiring company. Never A Third Party Offer.
Companies and Individuals will be banned from Job Offers Forum if they Fail to comply with rules. Continued Abuse or Disregard of the rules will result in being permanently banned from the site.
No creature or player ever has zero (0) resistance to any 'element' it must have some or even an infinitesimal amount would leave them dead. That is to be able to survive in the "real" world and not die you have to have a 1 or better in any resistance. So since everyone has at least a little bit let us make it a factor. So any factor above 1 will increase damage received any below will reduce it.
enemy 1 has a factor of 1.2 against fire, a factor of 0.8 against wind so the bonus a wind & fire attack is able to receive is 0.96
enemy 2 has a factor of .75 against earth, a factor of 2.8 against water so the bonus a earth & water attack is able to receive is 2.1
enemy 3 has a factor of .61 against earth, a factor of .96 against water, a factor of 0.8 against wind so the bonus an attack of all three is able to receive is ~0.468
As long as factors don't be come overly large it will play well IMO. I have not solved for healing in this example but it seems cleaner than the other ways.

Bart in KDE SC systemsettings -> graphic tablet KCM -> Pad Mapping you can set the working area
whether the graphic tablet KCM is installed by default or where it is located in systemsetting vaires with distro and KDE SC version

This is a good idea i'm surprised no one has suggested it before. I think making a standard is a good start.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Landstalker:_The_Treasures_of_King_Nole though a bit more action/adventure than action/rpg was isometric and the character could jump. Which was one of the things that set it apart from the rest of the genre IMO.
SVG stands for scalable vector graphics
