So you'll be charging money but it'll all go to charity, but you don't have a charity in mind? Why charge money then? Would you want pixel, cg or painted?
I've seen a lot of pixel based RPGs that use non-pixel graphics for spells, so I think it'll be okay. I'm so glad there are so many people working on sprites! We're getting quite the variety of people this way.
Wow! A horse is a lot of work to animate correctly and he looks really good. It's too bad the perspective is side on, that's a lot of good stuff you'll have to redraw. Top down should be easier to animate though.
I think assuming that the artists would prefer the work to be used for free games isn't unreasonable. It's true in my case, and I did the majority of the current artwork for LPC.
The limits of 64x64 squares for the sprites were to make things easier for the programmers. I don't think anyone will have any problems if everyone did weapons in 128x128 squares, in fact, it sounds like a good idea to me.
Everyone's stuff is looking really good. I'm very impressed and excited! Keep posting, everyone!

I agree. It should make the remaining collections easier to navagate that way.
You're welcome, glad you like it!
Oh hey, the challenges are back! Yay! I'll have something for this soon.
You should have put this on the blog feed, I almost missed it! These are good updates, TY!
