I can see what you mean, the tiles look fuzzy and distorted. I'll try and redraw one of them tomorrow (it's the middle of the night here in Denmark right now) and then you can see if you like it. Though it's not likely that I bother to redraw ALL of the tiles you've posted. You'll have to switch to somehting a bit more limited then, I'm afraid. Otherwise it's just to much work for me, at least for a free project :P
Hmmm. What sort of art style are you going for? And why do you even need concept artists so badly if all of the game's characters are essentially pulled from other games? Wouldn't a lot of the groundwork for at least the playable character concepts be made already?
Improved city, more futuristic + it blowing up. I'm not gonna give you any terrain I'm afraid. :P
The individual frames might look a little wierd, but when played as an animation, it makes sense. The smoke is quite sloppily drawn, but it doesn't really matter, as you'll only be seeing each frame for a split second, too little time to really nitpick it.
