I don't like running ads; right now, they barely cover server costs
Thinbking about it i have trouble to believe that ads can raise 500$/month that easily.
On the other hand the first patreon goal is remove ads to pay the server maybe we should try to convince him to switch the goals, reintroduce the ads and grant he fourth goal instead which ist just 500$ more than the third...

If I reach this goal, I'll be able to continuously work on high-effort features and bugfixes that have been back-burnered (some for several years), such as a set of tools that make it easier for artists to collaborate and remix each others' work (like allowing people to draw, paint, and compose simple music in comments) while doing the legwork of keeping track of licensing and attribution information automatically. I'd also like to set up spaces where game developers can set up art archives specific to their game to make content creation easier.
Server costs are $100, he told me by himself, which is already pretty expensive, you could get away with half of that or even less.

Actually i feel if he has 400$ extra each month he really should be around some time or alternatively pay someone to spend time here..
On the other hand if the 500$ barely cover the server costs - which is really quite high- i agree that he would no needto feel obliged to show up more than once or twice a year.
for 600$ you get that monster (for the double price you could buy it and let it work from home):

I know drupal a bit and i speak python and c fluent for gamedesign if the admins are overwhelmed i would look into giving a helping hand.
Actually i think one of the mayor problems is that any search returns results when the site has any of the terms so if you use is or the in the search you will automatic get 1000 pages.
I wonder if he might change this to so all items need to be in the result.
Search is broken. It doesn't return results past January of this year. The issue was reported in February, it's now June. A year ago search broke in the same fashion. It took four months to get fixed, and then broke again just a few months later.
This seems to be fixed i tried an object and i could find it with tags and title but not with the normal search there seems to be an general problem with the search.

Please precise the title to shipyard v0.7 there is an other object which is v0.4 and its hard to figure out which one is newer.
I am not sure what it does search but i think drupal should have a working full text search module.
I can only guess: Is the search a custom module bart wrote?
If so it might be horrible hard to fix. And it might be less time consuming to look if its possible to just replace it with a drupal module.
The catch is that to change the settings to search for all terms might be just switching a button in the ui.
Well it either is fixed or it is only related to the normal search which might just not work well at all.
