I have really rushed this im afraid, im so bogged down with other projects im finding it hard to make the time to do anything else. i do apoligise. its not the best but it maybe something to work from. If for some mad reason ;) you do use this then the font used is by Clint, which is public domain, but you could link his work: https://opengameart.org/content/boxy-bold-font-split if you want, other than that you can credit a link to OpenGameArt.org.
im going to have to bow out of this as i just dont have the time, hopefully the others may produce something more better. good luck with your channel! :)
Not sure if that was the comment that upset socay, but it was the last comment I seen and overblah didn't answer socays question, then I saw this post, so just thought I'd say not to worry about it. :)
don't worry about those people, what matters is what YOU think. If you are happy with your work, then thats that. Unfortunatly there will be some that will always consider that they know best, or find some sort of fault with some ones work because its not to their taste, and thats kind of art in general. Even if you dont want critique some cannot help themselves but to stick there oar in and make you question what you have produced. Its hard enough doing pixel art at the best of times, critique in and questioning our own work is something that can become a problem, with out the need for others to pipe up aswell, so i feel your frustration and annoyance as its happened to me plenty of times and continues to happen (not here though) Dont let them get you down buddy, you just have to ignore them and stick with what your doing. your work is very good, i think your contrasting is awesome. Take what positives you can, and ignore the negative, and honestly dont get het up on what Omerverly or what ever his name was said, hes gone. :)
Dali was a saucy bugger wasn't he, haha, and yet noone noticed what hes was drawing when he was alive.
il have a go tomorrow if i get a moment, im struggling for ideas, im thinking maybe an earth with gaming icons of somesort depicting old and new games?
@Capbros Thanks!, i love going through Surts scraps, i find it very good study source, and they are really good, to good to sit there gathering dust i think. :) hopefully i can add more of his work over time. :) il upload the monster sheets in due coarse. :)
haha yes, i have thought about that, my game Monstropolis springs to mind as i was working on this.:) I think i have now what i want for this particular sheet now, i am going to include other animations/states but they will be for a different genre of game, this one was NES/Gameboy RPG Assets (probebly should of mentioned that). :)
Yeah!, a new challenge!. havent seen Danorder for a while, hope he is OK.
My suggestion is 'Gadgets'

Have looked at the LPC artwork here? There is plenty of artwork that may help you start. Just put LPC in the search. :)
