Awesome! Would you mind if I added them to the archive (So that they don't get lost if the server you posted them is shut down?) I'll add you as a collaborator :-)
Hmm, I gave the engine a quick shot, but it won't work on Firefox 13 (It works on Chrome 20ish though).
Firefox yells:
Error: title.img.draw is not a function Source File: GameState_sample/js/modes/title_mode.js Line: 85
I checked it out and it might have been because title_mode.js was trying to getImage('title.png'); however the filename is actually Title.png. I renamed the image but it still refuses to work on Firefox.
Thanks for sharing the engine! I'll give it a try with some other project, but for this contets, i've already changed engines once :P
It was my girlfriend's idea. Came up when we were discussing my world map. She asked why I had placed a desert in the North, and I said "It's because we don't have Snow tiles. It's not like I could just take sand and paint it white..." And, I did it, and I think it works :P
As well as an xcf here: http://k3rnel.net/experiments.xcf It has layers per body. Some of the groups are pretty unfinished, as it is an experiment after all :-)
Wow Wulax, that script to convert colors easily is a godsend.
I wasted nearly 3 hours on the following:
I was trying to do an ogre, but ended up doing all of these... I include the "big" size as a reference, as I hate having to zoom in to see the detail...
Sadly, I'm nowhere near as patient or taleneted as the above artists to actually do 96 frames like these... so... Pick 1 and I shall attempt to do as many fraames as I possibly can.
Believe it or not. I'm working on 800 x 480 which sometimes displays a field "as big as" 400 x 240 =P
cemkalyoncu: As a contributor, I think you're allowed to edit this post and add those tilesets. If you can't, lemme know so I can add them myself :-)

Good thinking on the "change the water's color", I think we can even do frozen water that way.
As for the snow, I think it'd be an overlay we could place over buildings (similar to the way the shadows work)
Finally, Wulax (i believe) posted this on IRC last night:

I made it snow! Actually, this is daneeklu's sand tile, I simply did a quick color switch.
I hope it's useful! :-)
Everyone liked Maskman, so I'm working on that one sprite:
Anyone feel like doing a cape?
You can find the spritesheet here: http://k3rnel.net/maskman-incomplete.png

I'm terribly sorry for not posting this before, but I've got my code on github.com
