Not a problem Piacenti, these are really awesome! I think you put in a lot of hard work and effort on these and they came out really well, thank you! :)

These are really awsome! :)
Wondering why you used the Chinese charater for "child" for the book labled light? Light is "光".
I really like these and will incoporate thim into a game, thank you very much! :)

I am really happy to hear that!
I attempted to make some spell books myself a few months ago, but they never came out very well, as seen by the picture of the lightning book, the others are not mine they are from:
http://opengameart.org/content/flare-item-variation-60x60-only
I had to remove the black background, which created problems around the borders.
For the lightning book here I used:

Your fire book is way more awesome, and it is also a 3D model which makes it a lot more useful,
thank you, I look forward to seeing more, and will probaby use them instead of the ones I am currently using. :)

That is one fine book! Look forward to more of these, maybe some for different elements? For example: lightning bolt, ice shards, tornado, ie. some for comon spell types?

Awesome work! :)

rubberduck, very nice crystals! I look forward to playing with these in blender.
Not sure if it is just me, but they look a little bright, where as the rest of that cave map looks darker, maybe if they werent so bright they would blend in more? Hmmm I am not much of an artist, so I am probably wrong. Maybe a few color variations, such as blue? And yeah a glow effect would look awesome!
Thank you for sharing these, I find them very useful. :)

If you are serious about making games, then learning how to program is ineviatable.

Here is my favorite "game making" application, a C/C++ IDE, open source, "free", and cross platform.

I also use SDL, which is awesome for making cross platform games, also open source and "free".
