Questions on offering bounties

I'm in need of a dozen or so NPCs for a 3D game and I thought I'd sponsor some bounties.  The community benefits with some new models, I benefit from not having to pay an arm and a leg for all these NPCs, artists benefit with beer money, and, believe it or not, even the game benefits--the game has a certain meta-quality to it that makes it better if players think I stole or used cheap stock art.  From reading some of the old posts it looks like bounties have been offered here in the past, and I had a few questions about that.

OGA Game Jam #2 Hype

Hey everyone! Saliv here. Sorry I have been mostly inactive for a long time.

Lately, I have been learning to use the Godot game engine (amazing engine, generous license, mediocre documentation) and was getting to the point where I wanted to start doing more ambitious test projects. A few days ago I dropped by here, saw there was going to be a game jam coming up, and figgured you know what? I'm in.

[LPC] Issues with "slash" animation

First of all, I'm not sure what the most relevant section for this post is. The LPC sub-forum seems to be mostly for discussions about the event itself, or the assets in general; this is more specific. If you're a moderator and feel that this thread should be moved elsewhere, please do.

Search terminology

what teminolgys are Devs using to search for stuff, I know most tags work, I just wondered if it would be good to have a better understanding of terminologys of what are being searched for, we may be searching for the same thing just wording it differently. I've been trying to search 8 way directional sprites, but I'm struggling to bring anything up, not just here, it's all a bit vague,So I'm working on a 8 directional Sprite, what would be the best tag/terminology, 8 way, 8 directional, or is there something else I'd be better using or adding? :)

Rope swing?

hi, how are developers handling rope swing animations? Is it like sonic when he goes round the the loop, it's programs to handle it, or are there cases where animated frames are required or needed? Id like to know if anyone can suggest or educate/enlighten me. :)

CC BY-SA 3.0 - Share Alike question

Per the subject: if I recolor an asset that has this license, am I required to redistribute it?

Or do I just have to use the same license if I choose to redistribute it?

thanks in advance.

Make Use Of These Amazing Public Domain Resources!

Don't forget you don't always have to start from scratch with art. There are tons of resources in the public domain that may not have originally been intended to be used in this way, but are too awesome not to make use of.

Check out for example these amazing illustrations of fish:

Question reguarding OGA-BY 3.0

If a artist chooses to use this license for their art, does that mean they can collect royalties if I sold the game. Does this make sense? Please help I am trying to make a major decision for the video game I am making and would like help understanding the license because I can not figure it out. Thank you in advance.
