I really enjoyed your game, though I think it was a bit too hard, as the portals just kept spawning wave after wave of enemies. A small indicator of how much damage you dealt would be nice, as well as a way to disable the "auto-movement" of the camera.
I have a favor to ask to anyone interested in my game:
I've been reviewing all the LPC games, however I can't really review my own game objectively. I'd really appreciate it if someone (or several people) wrote a review of my game so that I could list it on my blog. I'd link back to wherever the review was written, and if there's several, I'd write a MetaReview, with pieces of each review all pasted on the blog.
I figured the slow movement was intentional, as I didn't see a framerate drop after casting the spell. It does make you unable to run away from the skeletons, which in turn hammer and drain your life in no time :P
I couldn't get it to compile the game though not for lack of trying. To fix the configure error, I copypasted the configure script into a blank gedit window, and now configure works.
make was complaining about a folder named .deps which I'm unfamiliar with. Am I supposed to compile every library you listed first?
I noticed you also included a kdevelop file, however I couldn't get kdevelop4 to open it, nor codeblocks, on Linux. Any tips? I'd really like to package this game engine formally, as it's one of the games I've enjoyed the most :-)
Btw Atomic_swerve, you're very welcome to use (and/or modify) the index.htm I made. It uses an iframe but is otherwise invisible, and lets you keep an index.htm where people expect it.
I'm glad you liked the review, I enjoyed playing the game a lot, its one of the most polished titles out there, despite the ending.
OOh, I'm glad you're also working on an Android port, I'd love to play it!
The animals look fantastic, great work Daneeklu!
Hey Glen, I wrote a review for your game http://k3rnel.net/2012/08/20/lpc-game-review-defeat-of-the-ancient-one/

Thanks for the game! I enjoyed it a lot!

Hey Krusmira, I thought you'd be happy to hear I wrote a small review about your game http://k3rnel.net/2012/08/15/lpc-game-review-blob-mobs/ :-)
Hey Xhrit! I wrote a somewhat long review of your game! http://k3rnel.net/2012/08/17/lpc-game-review-dungeon-tactics/

I managed to play the game! I wrote a (pretty long) review about the game: http://k3rnel.net/2012/08/16/lpc-game-review-artificers-quest
Man, those last 2 levels are tough!
Oh, that's interesting! It adds to the level of cruelty already present in the game, without having players one-hit-kill each other :-)
Edit: In case it wasn't clear, I say 'cruelty' in the most loving, affectionate way. <3

Darn, I feared it was due to c++11. Is there a way to get it to use the old compiler? Maybe setting a flag before running it or something like that?
